Neve Michael Children's Home

Join Our H.U.G. a Child in Israel Programme through The family units at the Neve Michael Children’s Village have provided our children with a warm family atmosphere that was so lacking in their broken homes. Pictured below are some of our children from the 250 at the home who suffered painful separation from their natural parents.

We would welcome caring, considerate sponsors to take an interest in their progress, which will give the extra assistance and consideration needed for their future progress.

	Alon Alon 10 years of age has been at Neve Michael for the past 5 years with his brothers and sisters. They are now permanent residents at Neve Michael and consider it their home.	SPONSORED
	Rose Amsalem Rose is 5 years old and takes part in the day care program. She has one brother who lives at Neve Michael in the residential program.
	Eden Absalem Eden is 8 years of age. He is from a local family and attended the day care progarms. He now has moved into Neve Michael as a resident. In addition he has joined his sister Rose at the home.
	Levy Avramov Levy is 9 years of age. He participates in our day care program. He has settled into Neve Michael and enjoys living in the family atmosphere.
	Daniel Gavrielov Now 7 years of age Daniel and his three brothers have been living in the Neve Michael residential program for the past year.	SPONSORED
	Bat-El Dadon Bat-El is 14 years of age. She lives in a therapeutic group with other girls her own age and studies at the local high school.
	Iris Kabada Iris takes part in the Neve Michael day care program. She comes to the day care program right after school, and enjoys hot meals, has help with her homework, and social activities. This is a way of helping local families who cannot care for their children without totally separating the children from their families and placing them in a residential home.	SPONSORED
	Chana Rubal Chana is 12 years old. She joined us this year and lives in a therapeutic group with other girls the same age
	Maria Avramov Maria is 8 years old and is on the day care program. Her family are new immigrants from Russia.
	Daniella Hayev Daniella is 14 years of age and lives at Neve Micheal with others her own age in a therapeutic group. She studies at the local high school.

	Orian Orian came to Neve Michael at the age of 5 with his brother Or. He now lives in a family unit with his counselor, Hadassah, and 11 other boys and girls. Studies are at the elementary school on campus.	SPONSORED
	Moshe Andarga Moshe is 13 years of age and will be celebrating his Barmitzvah this year at Neve Michael. He joined us 2 years ago with his brother and sisters.
	Minalu Tchana Minalu is 17 years old and came to Israel 4 years ago with a group of teenagers from Addis Abeba. Living in a family unit she says is like having a real family. She studies at the local girls High school.
	Lital Nir Lital is 13 years old and celebrated her bat-mitzvah at Neve Michael last year. The family live in the city of Upper Nazareth. She lives with 10 girls her own age and studies at the local girls junior high school.	SPONSORED
	Shlomo Abuaziz Shlomi has have been living at Neve Michael for a number of years with his older sister. Now 13 years old he has recently celebrated his bar-mitzvah at Neve Michael.	SPONSORED
	Hailu Melesa Hailu,11 years old came to Israel from Ethiopia four years ago with his family. The authorities brought him to Neve Michael, with the hope that it would provide a permanent home for him. He studies at a local elementary school.	SPONSORED
	Diana Yosipov Diana is now almost 14 years old and is wth her brother at Neve Michael. She lives with a group of 10 other girls her own age and studies at the local girls high school.	SPONSORED
	Mintamer Gesesa Mintamer is 18 years old and immigrated to Israel from Addis Abeba Ethiopia five years ago with other teenagers . In Ethiopia they spent many years waiting to come to Israel. She will be graduating this year and will then choose to enlist in the army or a volunteer in the national service program.	SPONSORED
	Iris Yaakobov Iris now 13 years old. She has been living at Neve Michael for many years, together with two older sisters. Last year there father died. Now orphaned Neve Michael is there only home. The three children are very supportive of each other.	SPONSORED
	Shirel Shirel is now 16 years old. Her mother died a few years ago. Sometimes her counselors invite her to spend weekends at their homes. She currently lives at Neve Michael and considers it her home.	SPONSORED
	Zehava Zehava is 15 years old and came to Israel with her family from Ethiopia when younger. For the past three years she has been living at Neve Michael and really hopes that this will now be her permanent home. She lives in a group with other girls the same age. 	Netanel Elias Netaniel is 12 years of age and came to Neve Michael three years ago with his older brother who has since graduated. This year he is beginning junior high school. Last year his father had a stroke and is now paralysed.	SPONSORED
	Adi Abukasis Adi is 13 years old she is doing well at school. Her home town of Beit Shean is in the Jordan Valley . Before she came to Neve Michael she could hardly read or write. She is now doing well at school. Adi recently celebrated her bat-mitzvah.	SPONSORED
	Ronit Kafeli Ronit is 12 years of age and has been living at Neve Michael for a year. She was orphaned from both father and mother and now has hardly any relatives left. Her Bat-mitzvah was last year at Neve Michael. She loves sports and dancing and likes being active.	SPONSORED
	Ariel Sinwani Ariel is 12 years old and will be celebrating his bar-mitzvah at Neve Michael this year. He has been living at Neve Michael for many years with his older brother. Their father cannot care for them but visits whenever he can.	SPONSORED
	Karin Hershkowitz Karin is 15 years old, and has been living at Neve Michael for many years. Her mother cannot care for her. Karin loves hermother very much and is very attached to her but understands that she can’t live at home. She lives in a group with other girls her age.	SPONSORED
	Netanel Yirdao Netanel Now 7 years old is studying in the second grade this year. He has two younger sisters, and gets along well with his friends. It is not easy living in a new environment but he is slowly getting used to the rules and routines.	SPONSORED
	Michal Asor Michal is 8 years old, and came to Neve Michael for the day care program. After school she stays until after supper, and then goes home to sleep at night. She gets along well with her friends in school. They do their homework and have activities together.	SPONSORED
	Lidor Gudov Lidor is 6 years old. His older brother Almog is also at Neve Michael as were other siblings from the family before them. Lidor takes part in the day care program.
	Tigist Melesa Tigist is 13 years old. She came to Israel with her family from Ethiopia when younger. For the past three years she has been living at Neve Michael with her brothers and sisters. They had lived at various crisis centers before coming to Israel.	SPONSORED
